9. Do I need to worry about frost heave problems with my StoneSkirt perimeter foundation system? (back to top)
No. StoneSkirt leaves a 2 inch frost heave gap between the StoneSkirt units and the bottom of the home. This allows your StoneSkirt units to move up when the frost enters the ground. The units will return to their installed position after the frost leaves the ground.
